We are Aesthetics Ltd
Terms & Conditions
Last updated: September 2026
These Terms & Conditions apply to appointments, consultations, treatments, products, gift vouchers and other services provided by We are Aesthetics Ltd.
By booking an appointment, purchasing a service or product, or receiving treatment from We are Aesthetics Ltd, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Nothing within these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.
1. About We are Aesthetics Ltd
We are Aesthetics Ltd is an independent aesthetics clinic operated by Claire, a Band 7 NHS Nurse Specialist and Independent Prescriber.
I provide nurse-led aesthetic care with an emphasis on safe practice, honest advice, appropriate prescribing and natural-looking results.
Legal business name: We are Aesthetics Ltd
Website: weareaesthetics.co.uk
Email: weareaesthetics@hotmail.com
Business/clinic address:
1 Talisman Way
Blyth
Northumberland

2. Consultations
Every client is treated as an individual.
Before treatment, I will carry out an appropriate consultation to discuss your concerns and treatment goals, medical history, medication, allergies, previous aesthetic treatments, potential treatment options, expected benefits, limitations, possible risks, alternatives and appropriate aftercare.
A consultation does not guarantee that treatment will be offered.
If I believe that a treatment is unsuitable, unsafe, unnecessary or unlikely to achieve a reasonable result for you, I reserve the right to decline treatment.
I would always rather recommend less treatment, or no treatment at all, than carry out a procedure I do not believe is appropriate.
3. Prescription-Only Medicines
Some aesthetic treatments involve prescription-only medicines.
Where a prescription is required, I will undertake the consultation and clinical assessment required by my professional obligations as an Independent Nurse Prescriber.
Prescription-only medicines for elective non-surgical cosmetic procedures will not be prescribed solely through telephone, email, online messaging, photographs or video consultation where professional standards require a face-to-face clinical assessment.
Treatment will only be prescribed where I consider it clinically appropriate. Attending a consultation does not create an entitlement to a prescription, particular medicine or particular dose.
4. Age Restrictions
You must be 18 or over to book or receive cosmetic botulinum toxin or injectable filler treatments at We are Aesthetics Ltd.
Proof of age may be requested where appropriate and treatment may be refused if satisfactory proof cannot be provided. Certain other treatments may also have minimum age requirements depending upon the treatment, manufacturer's guidance, insurance requirements and clinical considerations.
5. Medical Information
You must provide complete, accurate and up-to-date information about your health before treatment. This includes relevant medical conditions, medications, allergies, previous procedures, pregnancy or breastfeeding, infections or illness and changes to your health since a previous appointment.
Failure to disclose relevant medical information may make treatment unsafe. If your health, medication or circumstances change between booking and attending your appointment, please tell me before treatment takes place.
I reserve the right to postpone or refuse treatment where I believe proceeding would not be safe or clinically appropriate.
6. Consent to Treatment
Before treatment, the proposed procedure, expected benefits, material risks, potential complications and reasonable alternatives will be discussed with you as appropriate.
You will have the opportunity to ask questions before deciding whether to proceed. You may withdraw your consent before a treatment is carried out.
Consent to treatment is separate from consent for your photographs to be used for advertising or social media.
7. Results
Aesthetic medicine cannot guarantee a specific cosmetic outcome. Every person's anatomy, skin, metabolism and response to treatment is different. Results, duration and recovery can therefore vary between individuals.
Examples of previous clients' results, including photographs displayed online or on social media, illustrate individual outcomes and do not guarantee that you will achieve identical results.
Some treatments require more than one session, gradual treatment or subsequent maintenance. My approach is intentionally conservative. Where appropriate, I would rather begin cautiously and review your result than over-treat.
8. Risks and Side Effects
All aesthetic procedures carry some degree of risk. Common or expected side effects and any material risks relevant to your particular treatment will be discussed during the consultation and consent process.
You are responsible for following the aftercare advice provided. Please contact me promptly if you experience a reaction, unexpected side effect or complication following treatment.
If symptoms are severe, rapidly worsening or constitute a medical emergency, you should seek appropriate urgent medical assistance rather than waiting for a response from the clinic.
9. Review Appointments
Where a review appointment is clinically appropriate, the timing and purpose of that review will be explained to you.
A review appointment does not automatically mean that additional product or treatment will be provided. Any further treatment will depend upon your clinical assessment, the treatment originally performed, your response and whether additional treatment is considered appropriate.
10. Booking Appointments
Appointments may be booked through the methods made available by We are Aesthetics Ltd. You are responsible for providing accurate contact details when booking so that appointment information and reminders can reach you.
Bookings are subject to availability. Where a booking fee or deposit is required, your appointment may not be confirmed until that payment has been received.
11. Deposits and Booking Fees
Where a deposit or booking fee applies, you will be informed of the amount before confirming your appointment.
Unless otherwise stated at the point of booking, the deposit will normally be deducted from the balance due for your treatment.
Where a cancellation, late cancellation or failure to attend falls within the clinic cancellation policy, some or all of the deposit may be retained where permitted by law and where this reasonably reflects the clinic's resulting loss.
12. Cancellation and Rescheduling
I understand that plans sometimes change.
If you need to cancel or move your appointment, please provide at least 48 hours' notice.
Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours' notice may result in the loss of a booking fee or deposit, and a new deposit may be required before another appointment can be made.
If you do not attend your appointment without notice, the applicable booking fee or deposit may be retained.
Any cancellation charge will be applied fairly and will not affect any rights you have under consumer law.
Where I need to cancel or rearrange your appointment, I will make reasonable efforts to offer an alternative appointment. Any amount paid specifically for a treatment that I am unable to provide will be dealt with appropriately.
13. Late Arrival
Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you arrive late, I will do my best to accommodate you. However, treatment may need to be shortened, rearranged or cancelled where there is not enough time to complete it safely and without affecting another client's appointment.
Safety will never be compromised to make up for lost appointment time.
14. Right to Refuse or Postpone Treatment
I reserve the right to refuse or postpone treatment where I reasonably believe treatment would not be clinically appropriate, may pose an unacceptable risk, there is a contraindication, relevant medical information has not been provided, expectations are unrealistic, valid informed consent cannot be obtained, the requested treatment is unlikely to provide an appropriate benefit, or professional standards require me not to proceed.
Treatment may also be refused if a client appears intoxicated or otherwise unable to provide informed consent, or behaves in an abusive, threatening or inappropriate manner.
15. Prices and Payment
Current treatment prices will be displayed on the website, booking system, price list or communicated before treatment. Prices may change from time to time.
Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due at the time stated during the booking or treatment process.
We are Aesthetics Ltd accepts cash, debit card, credit card and Klarna, where available. Availability of individual payment methods may change.
16. Klarna
Klarna is a third-party payment provider. Where Klarna is available, its services are subject to Klarna's own eligibility requirements, terms, conditions and approval processes.
Using Klarna creates a separate financial arrangement between you and Klarna. We are Aesthetics Ltd does not control Klarna's approval decisions. You should ensure that you understand the applicable Klarna terms before choosing this payment method.
17. Refunds for Treatments
Once a treatment has been carried out correctly and with your informed consent, a refund is not automatically due simply because you change your mind or because your individual result differs from your personal expectation.
However, this does not affect your statutory rights where services have not been provided with reasonable care and skill or where you otherwise have a remedy under consumer law.
If you are concerned about the result of a treatment, please contact me at weareaesthetics@hotmail.com so that I can arrange an appropriate assessment or review. Where clinically appropriate, the first step will normally be to assess the concern rather than making assumptions from photographs or messages alone.
18. Online and Distance Bookings
Where a contract for services is entered into online, by telephone or otherwise at a distance, you may have statutory cancellation rights under UK consumer law.
Where you specifically ask for a service to begin during an applicable statutory cancellation period, your rights may be affected once the requested service has begun or been fully performed. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to remove any statutory cancellation right that applies to you.
19. Skincare and Retail Products
I am a Tropic Ambassador and can also assist clients with Tropic Skincare products.
Product recommendations are intended to help you select products appropriate to your requirements but do not guarantee a particular result. You should read and follow the manufacturer's instructions and ingredient information and stop using a product if you experience an adverse reaction.
Any statutory rights applying to faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied products remain unaffected. Where products are purchased online or at a distance, additional statutory cancellation rights may apply. For health, hygiene and safety reasons, the right to return certain sealed products may be affected after their seal has been broken where the law permits this.
20. Gift Vouchers
We are Aesthetics Ltd gift vouchers are available for purchase and are suitable for birthdays, Christmas and other special occasions.
The expiry date or validity period applicable to a gift voucher will be stated on the voucher or confirmed at the time of purchase.
must be used within their stated validity period;
cannot normally be exchanged for cash;
must be presented or identified when redeemed; and
may only be used for treatments or products for which the recipient is eligible.
Possession of a gift voucher does not guarantee that a particular treatment will be clinically suitable. If a recipient is unsuitable for the treatment they originally wanted, I will discuss appropriate alternatives that can be purchased using the voucher where possible. Any statutory rights remain unaffected.
21. Promotions and Special Offers
Promotional prices, packages and special offers may have specific terms, availability periods or exclusions. These will be explained when the promotion is advertised or booked.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, promotions cannot usually be combined with another promotion or discount. I reserve the right to withdraw or amend a promotion before a booking has been made.
22. Personal Belongings
Please take reasonable care of your belongings while attending your appointment. We are Aesthetics Ltd cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to personal belongings unless that loss or damage results from something for which liability cannot legally be excluded.
23. Website Information
Information provided on weareaesthetics.co.uk and We are Aesthetics Ltd social-media accounts is intended for general information and education. It should not replace an individual consultation, clinical assessment or personalised medical advice.
A treatment described on the website may not be suitable for every person.
24. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the content of the We are Aesthetics Ltd website - including original text, branding, graphics, photographs and other materials - belongs to We are Aesthetics Ltd or is used with permission.
Content must not be reproduced, republished or used commercially without appropriate permission.
25. Privacy
Personal information and clinical information are handled in accordance with the We are Aesthetics Ltd Privacy Policy, available on weareaesthetics.co.uk.
26. Complaints
I want every client to feel comfortable raising a concern.
If you are unhappy with any aspect of your consultation, treatment or experience, please contact me at weareaesthetics@hotmail.com and provide enough information for me to investigate the matter properly.
I will aim to deal with concerns professionally, fairly and confidentially. Nothing in this complaints process affects any statutory or regulatory rights available to you.
27. Changes to These Terms
These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to We are Aesthetics Ltd services, professional standards or applicable law.
The version published on weareaesthetics.co.uk will show the date of the latest update.
28. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws applicable in England and Wales, and any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction applicable under UK consumer law.
Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have as a consumer that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
